We define a BITCH OF THE MONTH as anyone irritating enough to warrant a Rant of Homeric proportions; Male, Female, or in this case, Bloated Conservative Fuckwit.

This month's BOM is without a doubt an obvious choice. It's none other than: The Mayor of New York - Rudy Guiliani!

Giuliani currently spends his time blasting the Brooklyn Museum officials for hosting the "Sensation" art exhibit, saying that the artists whose works are in the show have "psychological problems." When Rudy had time to get his PhD in Psychology, SOD can hardly guess! Based on his purely scientific and objective (ha!) findings, he is withholding $7 million in funding from the museum. And of course this completely irrational attack has nothing to do with the fact he is running for the Seneate in 2000 and apparently needs to wedge his nose in the cracks of the bloated conservatives in upstate NY to gain favour.

SOD feels that this man is out to destroy freedom of artistic expression and that sucks more ass than the NY Federal Prison System. In the words of Damien Hirst (one of the artists whose works are on display in this exhibit), "may as well say I only like Picasso and if you don't show it then I'm going to cut your funding. It's just pure censorship." If SOD's collective memory is correct, isn't censorship and lack of personal freedom the reason America keeps getting in wars all over the world, so villagers in some far away place have the freedom to do and say as they please? Isn't that why America fought Communism all those years? Maybe Mr Mayor was absent from class that day.

As for the Mayor Of New York, Mr Rudy Giuliani, SOD suggests you spend a little less time hanging out with the likes of Kathy Lee Gifford and the Moral Majority and rethink your Nazi-esque drusade on what the people of this country can and can't view as ART.

It's no wonder the likes of Jesse Ventura get elected.
