Somewhere deep in the bowels of the Pentagon, Washington, D.C....

First General; (Motions a group of officers over to a table with a large high resolution computer monitor on it. On the screen is...) "Here we have the latest satellite, computer enhanced photos of the man we think is responsible for these covert hypnotic broadcasts over the internet. Some of you may recognize him as music industry figure David Bowie. However, according to our man on the inside of his organization; and gentlemen, this may come as a shock, but this is NOT the afforementioned pop star! He is someone else who has been altered to look like Mr. Bowie."

Second general; "Altered? How?"

First general; "It's a clever plastic surgical proceedure. Even more fiendishly done than that on Micheal Jackson."

Second general; "Well, now that we know this is an impostor, I must ask, where is the REAL Mr. Bowie?"

First general; "That, gentlemen, is the question we need to answer. If we find the original Bowie, we find the impostor. Our operative seems to think Bowie is being held in a secret carribean location."

A colonel; "We have a submarine prowling those waters now. We think we know the location, but we can't locate the entrance to this base of operations."

First general; "Damn, it's too bad our operative couldn't use any of the homing technology we gave him, there's interference jamming his locator signal. We've gotten a vague lock on his covert radio transmissions but couldn't nail him down to a specific locus."

Second general; "Sir, we no longer need presidential authorization, as our target area is in international waters."

First general; "And it's a good thing too. The commander in chief has problems of his own right now. I'd hate to think what might happen if HE got hold of these hypnotic technologies!"

A colonel; "More "covert" operations, eh general?"

Everyone; "HAW HAW HA HA HAW!"
